LG Optimus 3D Specifications

LG Optimus 3D has a 4.3” touchscreen display that can display stereoscopic 3D which allows users to view 3D effects without the need for 3D glasses. Not only that LG Optimus 3D specs, 1GHz dual-core processor, RAM 512, 8GB of onboard storage and microSD card 8G, Dual 5 Megapixel camera to take 3D pictures and recording videos, HSPA + 4G cellular networks, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and support Operating System Android 2.2 Froyo will also be there on this smartphone.

LG in reality likes to be at the head of mobile technology, as confirmed by the dual-core processor in the LG Optimus 2X. So while for somebody, 3D is a publicity stunt but to LG it is a solemn proposition as it rolls out its 1st 3D-capable smartphone, the LG Optimus 3D.

We pinched some hands on time with an premature production model of the LG Optimus 3D to observe what the 3-D fuss is all about. It’s worth spoting at this point that this handset was not a final version product.

The primary thing we perceived on picking the handset up is that it is a bit heavier than the present batch of smartphones.

With a scarcity of physical buttons sullying the front panel, there is zero material to sidetrack your eye from the pretty 4.3” screen; it’s big and brilliantly bright when the phone comes to life.

Above the screen is a front-faced camera, most probably for video calling, although this feature was not activated when we saw the handset.

The traditional Android control buttons – Menu, Home, Back & Search – are flush to the screen and touch sensitive. It is quite a modification for LG to choose for invisible buttons rather than physical, but indicative of the way the complete market is moving.

Similarly, there is no camera shutter button; in its place, LG has provided a 3D launcher button, which takes you to the 3D hub. From here you can enter the camera to record 3D, or play games and videos from the 3D gallery.
